The Discord Aggregate Intersection

WHO?

Discord Aggregate is a group of experimental artists whose efforts are dedicated to exploring new ideas, forms and techniques in music, literature, film, web art and new art forms.

TDAI was started in 2001 in Berkeley, California.   It's now relocated to the Astounding and
Relentlessly Artistic Pacific Northwest - specifically Portland, Oregon.

If you wish to present your art and ideas, please contact Pamela at  alemap@discord-aggregate.com

\\WHAT?

The Discord Aggregate Intersection is a monthly salon for artists and those that whirl about them - patrons, lovers of the arts, critics, press, managers et al.

Each Intersection has a presenting artist - someone who brings their work and discusses their process and intentions, ways & means, frustrations and releases - whatever they like.
Following the artist presentation is a Q & A session.
Following the Q&A session is an open mic.
Throughout the whole is nibbles, noshes & libations.l

We’re hoping to have the salons every 4 weeks - right now Sunday evening at 7:00 seems to work best.

Sufficiently ridiculous amounts of detail noted here.

We're in NE Portland close to public transit.  For more info or to reserve a spot,  please contact alemap@discord-aggregate.com

WHY?

In manifesting The Discord Aggregate Intersection, we are hoping to create/provide a gathering place for artists and those that whirl about them - patrons, lovers of the arts, critics, press, managers.

TDAI is also intended as a testing ground for artistic approaches and ideas - this is where artists can bring their non-commercial work, the experimental stuff, the art that is hard to sell since it's just too out there.

The salon is a place for people to ask questions, clarify, understand creative work, artists, their process of creation.

Lastly, TDAI is a meeting ground for artists in this city crammed with artists that rarely meet each other.
