"The Texture of the Sky" CD has been released!
3 years in the making, 3 brains in the frying, "The Texture of the Sky" mixes minimalist with maximalist, grunge with grace, reason with random. Voice, tabla, violin, synth, sitar, bass, moog, whirligig thingy, sax, guitar, and a plethora of exceteras. For those who know and love "The Attack of the Absolute Zeros", rejoice! "The Texture of the Sky" is nothing like it...
The mixing process is finished, the mastering has occurred, and the insanely delightful "The Texture of the Sky" is now available for your auditory bliss. And we shall not even discuss the astounding and glorious visual effect of the clear (yes, clear) CD tray.

The instrumentation is provided
solely by Discord Aggregate, including
s
soaring vocals, A. Molotkovs spine-snapping violin, and
S.B. Redas ear
piercing saxophone. The eclectic selection of instruments does not end there.
Also to be heard on the recording are keyboards (a Moog synthesizer included),
percussion (drums, bongos, tabla, doumbek, etc.), guitar, sitar, bass, theremin,
pitch pipe, and numerous homemades.
Each of the three participants composed 1/3 of the music.
Each person's compositions were divided into short sections.
All the sections were then rearranged into one, cohesive whole.
The CD constitutes a journey into the strangest territories of the unknown, both for listeners and Discord Aggregate. Music of different styles and ethnic backgrounds has been thrown into the mix of Discord Aggregate's three minds to come out fresh and new. In addition, due to the sectional nature of the CD, a listener can utilize the "random play" feature on his or her CD and create an entirely new experience each time.
More information about the intense,
yet malleable components of the CD was included in one of the recent editions of
